Hearts fit together is a play on words from the scripture, “And he commanded them that there should be no contention one with another, but that they should look forward with one eye, having one faith and one baptism, having their hearts knit together in unity and in love one towards another."

Conference Weekend

Every 6 months, our family greatly looks forward to what my church calls General Conference. It's where leaders of the church address the members of the church. It is a great time of spiritual uplift, guidance and inspiration. We have come up with different activities for the kids to enjoy while they watch and listen to the prophet and apostles speak to us. We take notes and look forward to also reviewing the talks in print in the next issue of the Ensign.

This conference, as usual, was wonderful. I felt my faith renewed and my resolve strengthened to serve others, increase my kindness, and share my testimony of the Savior freely. Overall, it was an awesome weekend. Although the Conference addresses are typically geared towards those of our faith if you are interested in reading some of the past talks click here. One of our traditions is, in-between the Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon sessions we like to go for a drive up the canyon to enjoy the view get out and walk around and snap some photos. Here is a photo from our trip:
